Growing up an active kid, Blake became so ill that he had to be home-schooled for two years. After being in-and-out of hospitals and doctors' offices, Blake was finally able to enroll in a local high school, but found that he was much more frail and less physically developed than other kids his age.
Looking to bulk up, Blake picked up weight-lifting and began training in a small shed behind his parents' house with some rusty weights. As he grew increasingly interested in bodybuilding, Blake researched nutrition, exercise form and supplementation. Once he graduated high school, Blake joined a local gym where he focused solely on his new passion and prepped for his first bodybuilding competition.
At 19 years old, Blake competed locally in Louisiana winning each teen division he competed in while holding his own in the novice heavyweight divisions. He stepped on stage again a year later as an open super heavyweight winning his class. Today Blake is preparing for Junior Nationals where he hopes to break his previous goals and crush the competition.
As a BSN® athlete, Blake hopes to inspire and motivate others to live a healthy and positive life through his intense work ethic and passion for bodybuilding. He has his mind set on his journey in the NPC and won't stop until he smashes through the ranks and earns the prestigious label of IFBB Pro.
